Gwen Stefani is rumored to joining The Voice panel of superstar coaches, but Blake Shelton has his own idea of the perfect co-coaches.

CMT Hot 20 Countdown caught up with the country star and his fellow coach Adam Levine at The Voice red carpet and found out just who two want next to them in a spinning red chair.

“Tony Bennett would be cool,” Adam says. Adds Blake, “I was thinking Jennifer Lawrence or Amy Adams.”

After Adam notes Blake’s picks are actresses, not singers, Blake replied with his typical southern drawl, “But they can still judge!”

Nonetheless, the No Doubt singer is reportedly set to replace former coach Christina Aguilera.

The speculation follows official news that rapper-producer Pharrell will be joining the panel to replace Cee Lo Green.

According to People, Blake and Adam are both expected to return next season, which begins shooting in June.
