Little Big Town will do some “Day Drinking” on the night of the 2014 CMT Music Awards.
The country quartet has announced they will debut the first single from their brand-new album on stage at country music’s fan party of the year!
“We are so excited to finally be putting out our new single ‘Day Drinking,’” the band’s Jimi Westbrook says. “It makes me think about those summer days when all that’s on the agenda is hanging out, relaxing, and having a good time with friends. So, if that’s your plan, here’s your song!”
The band has teased the new single, which features Karen Fairchild on lead vocals, in a new video online.
In other LBT news, the fantastic foursome will return to host this summer’s CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock on ABC.
The group made the announcement in a fun new video online – but from the looks of things, Kimberly, Karen, Phillip and Jimi are a little early.
CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock airs Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 8/7c on ABC.
