Taylor Swift wants to save your life.

The country megastar is using her voice for good in a new public service announcement to urge fans to buckle up when they are traveling.

“You know, traveling all over the world touring has allowed me to meet so many fans that I care so much about,” she says in the PSA from Toyota. “And one way that we all can stay safe and reduce traffic injuries is by fastening our seat belts. So please, be safe and fasten your seat belt.”

The PSA will be shown in five countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

As it turns out, only 25 percent of people in some of the Southeast Asian countries are buckling up.

Back home in the U.S., though, seat belt usage is at an all-time high of 84 percent, according to the latest government statistics.
