I just had the craziest experience.

Earlier this Summer, my wife said let's plant some vegetables in the yard this year.

So I planted some tomato plants and she put in some cucumber plants. Well, everything is coming in now. The first picture above is right from our garden on the kitchen counter. The second picture is the experience I was telling you about.

Just cut my first tomato from our garden and sliced it onto a toasted muffin with a little mayo. Black pepper. That's it.

When I tasted it, I was in shock. My eyes blew open and my taste buds exploded! It was as dramatic as going from an 'old school' black and white tv with aluminum foil covered rabbit ear antenna on top to High Def 3D LCD 4k 60 inch big screen Surround Sound COLOR TV!

It tastes NOTHING like tomatoes from the grocery store. It's sweet with amazing flavor. I immediately flashed back to being a kid, Really. Suddenly, I remember what tomatoes USED to taste like.

What the hell is going on with the food that we are getting from the grocery store these days?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that grocery store tomatoes have NO flavor.

They are pretty, nice color and big but TASTELESS. At least compared to what just came out of my garden. Personally, I don't really care what my tomatoes look like anyway. My home grown ones have a scar or two but the flavor is out of this world.

Man, If this radio thing ever dries up, I'm going into farming. I think I could put all the stores around here out of business. At least their produce departments anyway.Tell me what YOU think ‪#MichaelJ‬
