Tinder for haircuts?

Catching your partner with a dating app on their phone would lead many to believe their S.O. is being unfaithful, and that’s exactly the case with this woman. But her man had quite the excuse, and it’s so out there, many people believe him.

The woman shares on Reddit’s relationship advice forum that she and her boyfriend of a year have been living together in quarantine for the last three months. For a bit of backstory, she says her man always keeps his hair buzzed, but grew it out under lockdown, and has been recently talking about making an appointment to get it cut.

Okay, so now back to the issue. The OP says that when she recently went on her man's phone to listen to music she noticed that he downloaded the Tinder app. When she looked into it, she found that he had set up a woman’s account to swipe on men, and while he hadn’t messaged anyone, she suspected he may be cheating, but he insists that’s not the case.

“When I confronted him about it he told me that he created the account to look at men's haircuts,” she writes. When she asked him why he didn’t just Google men’s haircuts, he claimed it was because then he’d only be seeing male models, and stock photos and with Tinder he was able to see “a few hundred real, random dudes in their 30s so I can find a picture to bring to the barber.” He didn’t want to go to Facebook because then he’d wind up getting the exact cut as one of his friends.
