This past Friday I attended my first formal gala for the Child Crisis Center of El Paso. I was their Fund Developer, (mainly event organizer), up until a few weeks ago. I chose the theme to be "Music To My Ears" because I believe music unifies and heals. I was so happy on how everything turned out.
I got a lot of compliments on my dress, which was actually my older daughter's ROTC dance dress from a couple years ago. It had just been sitting in my closet. It was either that dress or my wedding dress. Luckily it was long enough to hide my Harley boots, (hey, I was running around lot and had to be comfortable)!
