This Sunday on the El Paso Public Forum, I interviewed April Legarreta MSW, FreshStart Director for the Kelly Center For Hunger Relief.
The Kelly Center For Hunger Relief was founded in 1999 and serves as a food pantry for the El Paso community. In addition to this, they also provide a community closet, health screenings, nutrition classes, and they partner with UTEP to conduct research and learn more about food insecurity in the region. They also advocate for better resources for the community.
If services are needed, or to look at their drive-thru food pantry schedule, you can go to kelley.org Instagram: @915KMFP Facebook: Kelly Center for Hunger Relief
