KID ROCK's empire now includes barbecue grills. The "American Badass Grill" comes in two styles . . . a portable charcoal one that'll run you $100, and a similar gas one that costs $150. Kid Rock knows they aren't the cheapest grills you're going to find, but the thing about these is that they're AMERICAN-MADE. And that's plastered all over the site where he's selling them.
He says, quote, “I'm not gonna lie. It's more expensive to make things in America. But it's important to me. I love America, and I want to do all I can to create manufacturing jobs at home." Well, the charcoal one is 100% Made in America. The gas one, for whatever reason, is, quote, "more than 90% U.S. parts and labor."
Anyway, to get people's attention Kid shot a promotional video where he skeet-shoots foreign made grills. That's right, the grills are catapulted into the sky, and he starts shooting them up. And he says, quote, "This is what we think of China . . . in your face, China!" He DEFINITELY gets his audience. (Here's video.)
