There was a Red Bull Flugtag event in Pittsburgh over the weekend where people rode gliders off the end of a pier to see how far they'll go before crashing into the river. Well, a guy dressed like Marty McFly from "Back to the Future" had a VERY rough landing.
He separated from his craft after takeoff, and then crashed BACK INTO IT face first after it hit the water. He survived with 18 stitches and bruised ribs, and even went back to work a couple of days later.
