Dustin Lynch Is Jealous of Luke Bryan: 'The Man Can Do No Wrong'

Dustin Lynch sings “I’d Be Jealous Too,” but for the star, jealousy is a real thing.

In an exclusive interview with CMT’s Cody Alan, Dustin reveals he’s jealous of Luke Bryan.

“The man can do no wrong. He’s like my big brother. He’s taken me under his wing. I’m jealous of him filling up stadiums,” he says with a laugh. “That’s something I want to do. This isn’t in a bad way… [I] aspire to do that.”

Dustin adds he hopes to turn the jealousy into motivation to accomplish longevity like that of his mentors in country music.

“To be around as long as Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw and still be on the radio, and, gosh, they’re in better shape than we are. These are goals—real goals. I’m glad to have influences like that in my life,” he says.

Dustin has already accomplished one goal receiving his first Billboard Music Awards nomination for Top Country Song for “Small Town Boy.”

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas May 20 on NBC.
