A Pitcher Fools a Baserunner with a Hidden-Ball Trick

Josh Sharman was pitching for Nevada in the American Legion Baseball World Series, when he pulled off a wicked hidden-ball trick against Delaware.  He FAKED a pickoff throw to second, and then PRETENDED the ball went into centerfield.

The baserunner believed him, and took off for third.  Sharman threw the ball to his infielders and they tagged the runner out.

(Search the Twitter page of @SportsCenter.  Even though they fell for the trick play, Delaware won the Championship, 1-to-nothing.  Here's a story.)
