Parker McCollum is known for having one of the busier touring schedules, and he chose El Paso as his first stop on his 2026 tour! For many people like me, this was the first concert of 2026, and it did not disappoint!

I arrived with my husband and iHeart coworker Chloe around 6:30pm to grab the meet and greet passes because one perk of my job is getting to present winners with their prizes. Everyone met around 7:30 pm for their passes and to talk a bit before lining up to meet Parker. M&Gs are usually quick, and they have their own photographer, but I will share some of the El Paso Meet & Greet pics below. Also, congratulations to Erika who won M&G for her daughter Brooklyn....how cool is that?

The only downside for me was I missed William Beckmann's set. I missed him when he came with Midland too for personal reasons, but I did get to do a phone interview with him last year that you can hear as a podcast, "Amber in El Paso." If you're a William Beckmann fan, here is the link!

When we did finally go into the pit, we got to catch half of Jake Worthington's set before Parker came on. I loved Jake's old country sound and wit. My favorite type of country lyrics are ones with sarcasm, "southern wit" and insults, and double entendres, like Jake's. My husband said he sounds like a certain cartoon character when he talks...which do you think it is?!

Then Parker came on and let me tell you, he looked even more buff on stage. Last time I spoke with him in May last year at Boots in The Park in Albq, NM, I asked him about his workouts, and he said he needed to get back into the gym. Definitely looks like he went back to the gym, because one of the main things I noticed is how buff his arms looked onstage (I'm such a bro lol). All the people I was with really liked his guitarist's shirt that had an "X' and spelled Texas, so I'm sure we weren't the only ones googling where to buy it. Bras were thrown on stage and goes without saying that his performance was so good. I couldn't stop singing and people were dancing and the crowd looked like a unique mix of people in their mid 20's and early 40's, all having a good time, all dressed to impress in their country best. I saw quite a few young kids too! I also noticed a tower of beer cups that someone was collecting closer to the front of the stage, which my husband contributed to. It almost stole the show, and I'm glad it didn't fall on-stage.

For those that don't know, Parker McCollum is one of the Founders of 'Fresh Western," a line of hats and gear, with Vic Keller. Check his hat, (I want one). This concert was also Parker's FIRST STOP on his 2026 tour, and the day his new single "Big Ole Fancy House" was released! Which means that for those people like me that got to see him perform it, saw him perform it FIRST on his tour!
