Pregnant Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher Welcome A New Puppy To The Family

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have opened their home up to a new member: an adorable canine named Zero.

Earlier this week, the retired hockey player took to Instagram to unveil a shot of their new German Shepherd. "Meet the newest member of our family! Isaiah affectionately named him Zero. I guess it fits because it's the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home," he captioned the photo. Needless to say, Underwood's country colleagues were smitten with the announcement as Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and Ty Herndon both chimed in with their congratulations. Zero joins two older canine siblings, including Ace and Penny.

Meanwhile, there's still no word on when the star-studded pair is expected to bring home their second son, but it should be in the very near future. Back in early August, the former American Idol alum announced that she was expecting her second child with Fisher, and according to some simple mathematics, we predicted that she'd give birth sometime in early February.

In last year's video announcement, which also unveiled details surrounding her "Cry Pretty Tour 360," Underwood couldn't have been happier with the news to expand her family. "Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond," Underwood said. "This has just been a dream come true with album and baby news and all that stuff. We're just so excited and glad you guys can share this with us and be a part of it. Love you guys!"
