Luke Combs Dedicates Unreleased Song, “Without You” To Family

Luke Combs continues to surprise fans with new music throughout the coronavirus pandemic. He most recently shared an unreleased song called "Without You."

"Here’s a new song that I had been playing on tour that I wrote for my parents, amazing fiancée and the best fans in the world," Combs wrote on Instagram. "It’s called 'Without You.' Y’all check it out and let me know what you think."

Combs added a line from the song in his caption which read, "It’s me they love to give the credit to, but me don’t mean a thing without you."

In addition to "Without You," Combs has also shared several other songs during livestreams hows while quarantined. One of the first songs he surprised fans with was "Used To Wish I Was" which was followed by his emotional "Six Feet Apart" debut.

"Six Feet Apart," written by Combs alongside Rob Snyder and Brent Cobb, was inspired by the current health crisis and state of the world as people continue to practice social distancing due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The lyrics address feelings that come with not being able to go out and enjoy life like normal.

"But the news has all been bad / and the world just seems so sad / I ain’t had much else going on / so I sat down and wrote this song / I miss my mom, I miss my dad / I miss the road, I miss my band / And giving hugs and shaking hands,” Combs sings in the chorus. “It’s a mystery I supposed / just how long this thing goes / there’ll be crowds and there’ll be shows / and there will be light after dark someday when we aren’t Six Feet Apart."

The song was so powerful that Combs decided to release the studio version last Friday (May 1). Take a listen to the heartfelt song below.
