The month of May kicked off with strong winds in El Paso, but that didn’t stop fans from showing up for a sold-out night at Lowbrow Palace, headlined by country star Randall King. Opening the show was rising artist David Lewis, who took a moment to chat with Chloe after his electric performance.

When Chloe asked David how he landed the opportunity to open for Randall King, he credited the power of social media, growing his fanbase, and the unwavering support of his manager.
David, who was born and raised in Texas, shared that this was actually his second time visiting El Paso. The first was during a tour with Jake Worthington, when he passed through on the way to New Mexico while playing lead guitar. Unfortunately, that time he missed out on El Paso’s famous Mexican food, but not this time. “It’s amazing,” he said. “I thought Houston had good Mexican food, but this is different.”
Chloe also asked about his choice of guitar. Curious why he opted for an electric guitar instead of an acoustic, she admitted her question was answered the moment he started playing. His performance was energetic, powerful, and unforgettable.
And for those wondering… yes, David is married! But beyond that, what really stood out was how genuine he is when it comes to his fans. “Without my fans, I wouldn’t be able to do this,” he said.
