Shania Twain “would have done anything,” to attend Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce earlier this month; however, she ultimately missed the occasion.

Twain, 60, shared in an interview with Canada-based Etalk, “Taylor Swift invited me to her wedding, and I couldn’t go because I was already committed to Harry’s shows.” Twain served as a special guest during Harry Styles’ stadium residency, which wrapped up earlier this month. The interviewer noted that Styles is Swift’s ex. The two artists dated for a brief period of time from late 2012 into early 2013. Twain insisted, “I would have done anything to be at Taylor’s wedding. I would have done anything, and that would have been really lovely for me to be there.” She also laughed as she said if Styles gets married, he’ll have to ask her to attend “more in advance.”

Swift and Kelce, both 36, said “I do” in a star-studded ceremony that included about 1,000 guests. They got married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, nearly one year after announcing their engagement. Country stars who attended the wedding included Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert and husband Brendan McLoughlinLittle Big Town — made up of Karen FairchildKimberly SchlapmanPhillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook — and their spouses, Maren Morris, Sugarland members Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, and more.
