Calling all female bikers in El Paso

I have been riding a Harley going on 6 years now. The only reason I ever got a motorcycle to begin with was because I joined a non-profit organization of bikers that advocates for children, (they were at all the advocacy events I was going to anyway lol). I never expected to be immersed in the world of bikers or even knew it existed! As a female biker I do see many challenges that the male bikers don't. For 1, the MC (motorcycle club) world is male dominated. Although the group I'm in, Guardians of the Children, is not an MC, (we're a non-proft), we still operate with and abide by many of the "rules." You wear certain clothing to events and don't wear certain colors, you address groups of bikers in a certain manner, (order of handshake, sunglasses off, hold eye contact and say your road name and affiliation a certain way which in my opinion is basic respect), you don't interrupt or even stand around when 2 people are talking, and so much more. Many females can not wear a patch on their vest (we call it a cut/ kutte). Many females have "property of" on their cut and are addressed as "Old Ladies". I think as a female I have to worry about my makeup and hair being ruined by my helmet lol.

I don't want to give away all the biker secrets but I do want to know if there are any other female riders that can relate?! Hit me up on my Instagram or social media and remember to always look twice for motorcycles. There is a husband/ wife/ mom/ father/ son/ daughter/ riding on it.
