The Rockabily Riot in El Paso, Texas is a classic car and motorcycle show put on by the Hard Knocks CC. The first time I went was a couple of years ago with a friend of mine and I had never heard of it before that. A ton of classic cars, motorcycles, vendors and even a Lucha gather at Lincoln Park which is located under the I-10 Freeway in El Paso, TX. The highway beams are covered in amazing art done by local talent.
The event itself also includes the Miss Rockabilly Riot pinup contest. Last year I was a spectator, and this year I got to participate as a trophy girl and award not only the winners of the pinup contest, but help give awards to the different vehicles that were entered in the competition. One of the car awards was actually chosen by the pinups as a group and I was a part of that. Here are my personal top three pics and the final pic is the vehicle that won which was well deserved.
