Kacey Musgraves Tweets Graphic Photo Of Her Surgically-Removed Gallbladder

Kacey Musgraves fans probably weren’t expecting to see one of the singer’s organs on their social media feed, but there’s a first time for everything.

On Thursday (February 18), the “Slow Burn” singer-songwriter reflected on the surgery she underwent last year to have her gallbladder removed — albeit in the grossest way imaginable. In leading a new challenge on Twitter asking users to share the “weirdest” photo on their phone, the 32-year-old set the bar when posted a photo of her actual gallbladder.

“Weirdest pic in ur phone right now: go! Ok since no one asked mine is of the s—t gallbladder that had to be taken out of my body exactly a year ago,” Musgraves tweeted with an image of the surgically-removed organ. “Isn’t science neat.”

Fans were freaked out but, also sort of… impressed?

One user joked, “You have some gall to post this photo.”

Another Twitter user quipped, “*6 time Grammy winning gallbladder.”

Other fans took the challenge seriously, sharing bizarre pictures of their own, from panorama pictures of their pet pooch to gruesome arm injuries to broken-off thumbnails. (Eek!)

Musgraves' weird photo drop comes just a week after the singer broke her silence on her divorce from Ruston Kelly.

"It's two people who love each other so much, but for so many reasons, it just didn't work," Musgraves told Rolling Stone of splitting with Kelly after two years of marriage. "I mean, seasons change. Our season changed."
